Text Messaging (SMS) Terms & Conditions

Program Description
WestStar Physical Therapy sends text messages to patients related to scheduling and care, including: notification that we have received your referral and are working to schedule you, scheduling and appointment communications, appointment confirmations and reminders, and other messages related to your care with WestStar.
Consent
By providing your mobile phone number to WestStar or to a party referring you to WestStar for care, or by replying to a message from us, you consent to receive text messages from WestStar Physical Therapy at that number. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of receiving care or services. Messages may be sent using automated technology.
Message Frequency and Cost
Message frequency varies based on your care and scheduling activity. Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier plan. WestStar does not charge for text messages, but your carrier’s standard messaging rates apply.
Opting Out
You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message from us. After you reply STOP, we will send one final message confirming your opt-out, and you will receive no further text messages from us. Opting out of text messages does not affect your care; we will contact you by phone instead.

Carrier Disclaimer
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to effective transmission by your mobile carrier.
Privacy
Information collected in connection with the text messaging program is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date above reflects the most recent revision.
